Melissa Due
Co-Leader, Children's Ministry

Melissa Due serves as Co-Leader of the Children’s Ministry at the Richfield Church of Christ. She has worked with the children's program since 2010 and has regularly taught classes since 2001. She was born in Texas and as a teen moved to Iowa where her family helped with the church. A graduate of York College, Melissa has an in-home daycare and has 2 children.


Wendy Ebersole
Co-Leader, Children's Ministry

Wendy Ebersole has helped support and organize the children's elementary education program since 2010. Wendy grew up on a farm in Kansas and has been a part of the Church of Christ her whole life. She has a background in accounting, having graduated from Oklahoma Christian University. Wendy is a stay-at-home mom with 3 young boys, and her husband Kent Ebersole serves as Deacon, Treasurer and Finance for the Richfield Church of Christ.

John Freemyer
Building Maintenance Facilitator

John Freemyer has assisted many others with church building upkeep and remolding projects since 1987, shortly after becoming a member of the Richfield congregation. In 2010, the Church Elders asked John to be the church maintenance facilitator. The actual task of keeping the building in good repair is a happy labor shared with many others that have a God given talent of working with their hands. Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he relocated to Minnesota in 1974 for a job assignment. Prior to moving to the Twin Cities area John and his wife Ann have lived in Hibbing and Rochester, MN. John and Ann have four adult children. He enjoys traveling with his wife to visit children and grandchildren, bicycling and building furniture.


Carolyn Lichtblau
Administrative Assistant

Carolyn Lichtblau began serving as Administrative Assistant for the Richfield Church of Christ in March 2015, and has 14 years of prior experience with church administration. She became a Christian as an adult and shortly afterward God brought her and her family to Minnesota. She and her husband James teach third-sixth grade Bible class, facilitate Financial Peace University, coordinate the MAGI Project and are Green Bay Packer fans. Carolyn enjoys Bible Study Fellowship and volunteering at Flaming Pine Youth Camp as well as gardening, photography and camping. She and James, an Elder at the Richfield Church of Christ, have two adult children.

Prayer Ministry

Elder Thurman and Pat Tucker lead the Prayer Ministry at the Richfield Church of Christ.
